QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 1 year post-graduate Mental Health experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Current Police Check, Working With Children Check, and relevant immunisations
  • 2 x Referee reports (12 months in date)

Responsibilities
  • rovide safe, person-centred nursing care to patients with mental health needs.
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient mental and physical health.
  • Administer medications and treatments in line with care plans and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, allied health, and support staff.
  • Support patients and families through education, advocacy, and therapeutic communication.
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, and documentation.
  • Promote recovery-focused practices and uphold dignity, respect, and patient safety.
