We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our Diabetes Education Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current certification – College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certified Diabetes Educator Certification (CDE) required
• Recent experience in diabetes care
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of Adult Educational Principles
• Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing Techniques (preferred)
• Knowledge of Gentle Persuasive Approach (preferred)
• Appropriate lifting techniques
• Health assessment (may be required)
• Acceptable performance and attendance records
  Hiring Salary Range: $39.07 - $56.00

The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Registered Nurse within the Diabetes Education Department
The Registered Nurse is accountable and responsible for the provision of general and specialized nursing duties and work assignments on a daily basis according to the standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario, and approved standards of care of the Corporation.
