About the Cardiac Cath Lab The Cardiac Catheterisation Lab at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne provides exceptional diagnostic and interventional care for patients with heart conditions. As a leading centre for cardiac care, SVHM specialises in a range of procedures, including coronary angiograms, angioplasty, pacing procedures and structural heart interventions. Our highly skilled team of cardiologists, nurses, and technicians work collaboratively to accurately diagnose and treat heart disease. The cardiac cath lab is an integral part of our comprehensive heart services, offering both emergency and elective procedures with a focus on improving the quality of life of our patients. About the Position We are looking for nurses with cardiac cath lab experience for a casual role. Shifts are available based on supplementary staffing demand. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, you will be required to use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan, coordinate and evaluate the care needs of cardiac patients. You will require excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely within a friendly and supportive team environment. Classifications for the RN position will range from ZU3 - ZU11 ($67527.2 - $95,378.40 per annum) pro rata. Your Contribution As an experienced, motivated and passionate cath lab nurse, you will bring demonstrated knowledge and commitment to a patient-centred care framework. Your excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills will allow you to facilitate team outcomes in a multidisciplinary environment. About You Minimum 1 year experience specifically in cardiac cath lab nursing is essential. Post graduate cardiac critical care certificate is desirable but not essential. Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain. Current National Disability Insurance Scheme check, or willing to obtain. Current condition free registration with AHPRA.
