About the role Mater Private Hospital Redlands are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Casual Pool team. Availability and flexibility are of great importance to the Casual Talent Pool community. To be eligible for this opportunity you will have the ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week on varying shifts as advised across a 24/7 period. This position offers our RN's the opportunity to be exposed to different areas of Redlands Mater Private Hospital and gain valuable experience. Mater Private Hospital Redland is an expanding facility with 60 beds, accommodating specialities including orthopaedics, rehabilitation, acute medicine, palliative care, urology, gynaecology, general and breast surgery.  The hospital incorporates 2 operating rooms, 1 endoscopy room and a busy Day Procedure Unit, and offers award winning nursing services in an idyllic environment. Salary range: $42.99 - $55.14 per hour plus casual loading plus superannuation [https://www.ato.gov.au/tax-rates-and-codes/key-superannuation-rates-and-thresholds/super-guarantee] and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 [https://account.smartsalary.com.au/benefits-available?ercode=MML]  + access to many staff benefits!  [https://www.mater.org.au/group/careers/working-with-mater] What you’ll be doing As a Casual Pool Registered Nurse, you will provide high standard of patient centred nursing care.  Registered Nurse core responsibilities are supporting patients in the activities of daily living, assisting in meeting basic human needs and recognising the normal and abnormal assessment, intervention and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with VMOs, Allied Health professionals and team members within the unit. About you * Current AHPRA registration Registered Nurse Division 1 (without restriction) * Minimum 12 months post graduate nursing experience (desirable) * Flexibility to perform in various wards, adaptability to seamlessly integrate into different teams and work under different nursing managers * Consistent availability to complete shifts at short notice * Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development * Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team * Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems Why join us?
