Responsibilities

As a casual Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team. Casual pool opportunities are available in:

  • Emergency Department (ED)
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Neonatal ICU
  • Perioperative Services (Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) (Endoscopy)
  • Dialysis
  • General Ward Nursing (Medical/Surgical, Specialty Wards)
  • Primary and Community Health

This is a flexible opportunity to broaden your experience while contributing to high-quality patient care.
Please note: NSLHD casual pool staff are expected to work a minimum of two shifts per month to maintain their position in the pool
