Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team providing nursing care to patients/clients of the health service; and leading, directing and supervising other nurses and care roles in the team, such as Enrolled Nurses (EN), Assistants in Nursing (AIN) and student Registered Nurses (RN), to support quality care for patients/clients.
Parkes has a population of approx. 10,000 and is 100kms from Orange and 115kms from Dubbo. Parkes offers country living in a friendly town with all the services and amenities you need.
Parkes hospital is 25 beds, theatre, community and more. You will join a dynamic team of expert clinicians to provide quality care to patients in our region.
Applicants will have the option for recognition of experience and qualifications with options to progress rapidly depending on skills set or work towards Clinical Nurse Specialist 1 grading.
