The Role We are currently seeking enthusiastic, proactive, highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with experience in an acute care setting to join our dynamic Cardiac/Angiography Recovery unit where team work is paramount. You will join a workforce of nursing professionals to care for patients after surgery. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in patient recovery after life-changing cardiac procedures, working alongside a team of passionate professionals: To provide customer focused holistic nursing care Deliver evidence based nursing care Maintain effective communication within the multi-disciplinary team Ensure ongoing patient care and staff safety Engage in a positive team culture What you'll need to succeed Essential qualities: Current Registration with AHPRA - Registered Nurse Minimum of 2 year’s experience in Recovery nursing Commitment to Quality Patient Care Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Intermediate computer skills Desirable qualities Post graduate certificate in Recovery or working towards Cardiac/Cath Lab experience Why Healthscope? If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $39.09 - $54.89 per hour.
