Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating all aspects of quality patient care. The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate time management skills and work as an active team member.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Child and Adolescent Unit, which is a 12-bed unit that manages paediatric patients up to 17 years. The patients may be admitted under medical, surgical or orthopaedic teams.
We work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, which includes the medical and Allied Health teams. The Registered Nurse must have well-developed clinical and organisational skills and recent acute nursing experience. You will be responsible for the clinical care and assessment of patients both medical and surgical (pre and post operatively) under the direction of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Unit Manager of the Child and Adolescent Unit.
