South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre (SEOCHC) is a non-profit, community-governed organization that provides a wide range of multidisciplinary services, including primary care, health promotion, social services, community development, home support, and advocacy to address the social determinants of health. We focus on improving the health and well-being of people in South-East Ottawa, especially those who face barriers to accessing care. At the heart of our service delivery model are our shared commitments to equity and social justice, whole person health, community collaboration, heart-driven integrity, and evidence-informed excellence.
Our Primary Care team is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our clinic on a full-time basis as a member of an inter-professional primary care team, which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, administrative staff, and allied health professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario;
- 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a community or primary health care setting;
- Experience using a medical software program, preferably PSS, is an asset;
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations such as newcomers and refugees;
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team;
- Fluency in English and French preferred; other languages are assets;
- Proficiency in the use of computers and electronic medical records;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Salary range: $69,032.60 - $ 81,226.60, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including HOOPP, general paid leaves and professional development opportunities.
