POSITION SUMMARY

Provides instruction, individually or in a group format to persons of all ages. Provides staff development guidance to assist staff providing patient education based on established protocols or guidelines. Monitors, evaluates and revises education programs. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 2 years clinical nursing practice. Demonstrated competency in area of expertise.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Prior teaching experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE : Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
