JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide essential medical care and emergency response services on a construction site. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining the health and safety of workers, managing medical emergencies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires someone who can work independently and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid nursing license.
• Experience in emergency care, trauma, or urgent care settings is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• Familiarity with construction site hazards and safety practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare privacy standards.
• Urdu Language will be Added Value.

• First Aid and Emergency Care: Provide immediate care for any injuries or health issues that arise on the construction site, including wound care, splinting, and managing trauma or medical emergencies.
• Health Monitoring: Conduct routine health checks and assessments on workers, ensuring early identification of any health concerns that may arise.
• Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and worker health assessments in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety standards. Assist in the development of health and safety programs tailored to the needs of the construction site.
• Worker Education: Educate workers on health and safety best practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Medical Supplies Management: Ensure medical supplies and first aid kits are stocked and maintained for the construction site. Order additional supplies as needed.
• Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for healthcare providers and emergency services in case of more serious medical situations.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report any work-related accidents, incidents, or near misses to the management and regulatory bodies.
