How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide direct, patient-centered care to critically ill patients, closely monitoring vital signs, managing complex interventions, and responding promptly to changes in condition. Implement and monitor individualized care plans, accurately documenting patient status and communicating updates to the interdisciplinary team. Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure seamless treatment, patient safety, and effective discharge planning. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional preferences we're seeking 1 year previous ED or ICU experience strongly preferred.
