Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, and supplies for cardiac and vascular surgeries. Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after surgical procedures. Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to infection prevention and patient safety standards. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and surgical technologists throughout procedures. Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes during surgery. Accurately document perioperative care in the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in on-call rotation as required by the facility.
