REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Valid Michigan RN license
  • Three (3) yrs. (out of the last 7 years) of RN experience in Adult Internal Medicine (to include Adult Inpatient, or Emergency Services, or Ambulatory Care Medicine Adult).
  • And one of the following: One (1) year of OB/Gyn RN experience in Ambulatory Care, Labor and Delivery -OR- One (1) year of Pediatric RN experience.
    NOTE: Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Responsibilities
  • Provide the delivery of culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care models in delivering nursing care for Primary Care patients including, adult medicine, pediatric, and OB/GYN patient populations at Briarwood Medical Group, Canton Health Center, Taubman General Medicine, and Saline Health Center ACU’s
  • Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in person/ video visit) in-clinic hands on procedures, and other duties assigned.
  • Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
  • Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources.
  • Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care.
