We are currently seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team. As a Perioperative RN, you’ll play a critical role across all areas of our ASC, including: Preoperative Operating Room Postoperative Recovery Laser Procedure Room This position offers the opportunity to work closely with ophthalmic surgeons in a highly specialized setting focused on precision, safety, and excellent outcomes. Our team values efficiency, clinical excellence, and creating a calm, reassuring experience for every patient. Schedule & Work-Life Balance Monday–Thursday | Typically 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM No weekends No holidays No on-call ASC staff rotate to our Northland surgery center every Wednesday. What You’ll Do Admit, assess, and prepare ambulatory surgical patients according to center policies Perform comprehensive pain assessments, interventions, and patient/family education Provide specialized care for ophthalmic surgical patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes promptly Initiate or assist with emergency interventions (cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, shock, etc.) Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure efficient, high-quality surgical care Maintain composure, organization, and adaptability in a dynamic surgical environment Requirements What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current Registered Nurse licensure in Missouri and Kansas Current BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Minimum of one year of nursing experience; perioperative or surgical experience preferred Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, patient-focused care Benefits That Support You We are committed to helping our team members thrive both professionally and personally.
