This position offers a salary range of $56,000 to $65,000. Actual pay will be based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity working with the pediatric population (children birth to 3 years)?  Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of families?  Thom Child & Family Services located in Norwood, MA is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team.   As an Early Intervention Registered Nurse (RN) you will be responsible for providing home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays and their families in both their homes and community settings.  You will work in a coaching model, partnering with parents/caregivers to ensure service delivery is individualized, meaningful for the family, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Through this collaborative process, you ensure families’ priorities, needs, culture, and values are prioritized. The early intervention RN will focus on medical history, nursing assessment, as well as goals and objectives related to health, nutrition, and safety.  * Participate in the development of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) with families and collaborate with families to identify strengths and resources.  * Provide services using a coaching model with children and families according to their IFSP. This may include home visits, child groups and parent groups. * Monitor developmental milestones and progress with parents/caregivers to inform ongoing need for direct service, consultation and/or assessment. * Provide parent/caregiver education on health and safety issues during home visits or parent education groups. * Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence as appropriate. * Document all information necessary for the upkeep of client files. * Participate in developmental screenings in the community. * Attend program functions for clients and the public.
