Managed by United Surgical Partners International Joint Commission Accredited We are currently looking for a full time Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team.   Job Summary: The nurse will interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on the phone and in person.  The nurse will assist with screening patients by obtaining a list of medications and completing the Patient History Assessment. The ED nurse is also responsible for implementing the nursing process, performing needed pre-op testing, and providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.  The nurse will also be responsible for the evaluation and care of any Emergency Department patients while on duty.  This will include triage of the patient, initial assessment, notification of E.D. physician of patient arrival and condition, implementing physician orders, and assisting the E.D. physician with any procedures, as needed.
