Shift Length: 12.25 hours (11.25 hours paid)
Professionals on Days: 4 RNs, 1 HCA 0700 - 1900, on Nights: 4 RNs, 1 HCA 1900 - 2300
Accommodations + Travel are paid for. If you stay for a 2 month contract, you’ll have your own private rental.
Two days of orientation and two dedicated educators for the extent of your contract.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care and demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an RN in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for those experiencing medical emergencies.
This is a small hospital ER for the lower sunshine coast. They have 11 emergency stretchers and one seclusion room. Patients are followed by their family physician.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival to the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record system Cerner.
