Job Description: CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RN-Registered Nurse of California BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support EXPERIENCE 1 year of experience in an acute health care setting preferred DEPARTMENT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment. Must have documented experience and knowledge of current techniques used on specific nursing unit. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must demonstrate basic nursing skills. Working knowledge of pharmacology. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must learn operations of relevant hospital equipment. Basic keyboard skills preferred. Must learn basic unit operations. Basic computer skills. Prolonged standing and walking with ability to lift, move and transport patients and related medical equipment and devices. Flexibility to bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead.
