Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team! Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy department assisting with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and prioritize effectively is essential for success. RNs are on their feet most of the day and are expected to provide abdominal pressure during procedures. Positive attitude, kindness, and flexibility required. Experience in the following areas is required: Endoscopy procedures, IV insertion skills, administration of moderate sedation, and 3 years of nursing experience. Critical care experience is preferred. ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire. Work Schedule: Varying shifts/start times based on business need. 10-hour shifts with possible rotating day/night/holiday call. Required to work 80 hours per quarter, provided sufficient hours are available. Hours are not guaranteed. RNs are expected to stay beyond shift end to care for patients. Required Qualifications: Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing required. Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
