ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Care team at our Moran Engadine home. Above award rates $43.05 - $51.20 base per hour.

  • Afternoon Shift: 14:15pm to 21:30pm - Thursday and Friday
  • Casual position: Morning, afternoon and night shift available.

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be providing quality nursing care and support to the changing clinical needs of the residents. This includes consulting with residents and their families, staff, management, and other allied health professionals.
Working with a wonderful team of dedicated people, your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.
You will be supported and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us and to further develop your skills.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Caring and empathetic
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Good assessment/prioritisation skills
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently within a team
  • Proficient level of verbal and written communication
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current influenza vaccination
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans and completing assessments
  • Providing clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care
  • Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members
  • Work with the Clinical Leadership team with more complex clinical management
  • Supervising and supporting our Personal Care Workers
