We are currently seeking Registered or Enrolled Nurses to fill a casual position with a guaranteed 30 hours per week for 3 months.
GP Practice nursing is a rewarding aspect of nursing where you can utilise your nursing skills in a variety of situations and develop long and strong relationships with the patients in your care. You will work closely with the doctors of the practice to ensure the best health outcomes for patients.
We highly value the right person, who enjoys a busy but varied and friendly environment, who is willing to learn and expand on their current skills. We need confident and passionate nurses who are able to work independently but can also work well as part of our team. Previous experience in Medical Practice would be looked on favourably but not necessary as a full induction and training period will be provided.
The successful applicants will be responsible for a broad range of services including, but not limited to:
Triaging patients to determine best care options
Providing wound care services
Assisting with immunisations
Assisting GPs with minor procedures
Completing patient assessments
Providing patient education
Supporting patients with chronic disease management
Being involved in clinical discussions and offering suggestions towards improving the quality of practice services
