Description Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Location: Monticello, Illinois Department: Emergency Department Position Type: Full-time Hours per week: 36 Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts 6:30p-7:00a. No required overtime. Weekend/Holiday Requirement: E/O Friday/Saturday, E/O Holiday. Hourly Rate: $30.82 - $46.24 Shift/Department Differential: up to $6 per hour + bonus shift incentives *Compensation dependent on experience # of Openings: 2 Kirby Medical Center is growing and we’re looking for a compassionate registered nurse to join our 3rd shift team in the Emergency Department. Our 8-bed Critical Access ED allows us the opportunity to provide dedicated care to our rural population. Job Responsibilities: Able to work well under high stress, high acuity and make quick decisions as part of a team to save lives Rapidly triage patients, prioritize care, and deliver immediate interventions Safely administer medications and efficiently stabilize patients for ongoing treatment Provide hands on patient care to patients of all ages Work closely and communicate well with Emergency Department provider Maintain accurate and continued documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments and responses and assessment of changes Track patient vitals, adjust treatment plans based on response Participate as a member of the Campus Response Team Requirements Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing Current BLS Certification Basic computer knowledge Current ACLS and PALS certification or ability to achieve within 3 months of hire 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred Benefits: 36 hours PTO effective date of hire Annual $150 uniform stipend Paid ACLS & PALS courses onsite Paid Continuing education opportunities Tuition Assistance opportunity Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance effective date of hire Generous 401(k) match effective after 90 days Quality/Goal incentive annually Free Wellness Program DAISY Foundation Partner Kirby Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
