Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse who is interested in transitioning to the ED specialty to participate in our Fellowship program that begins March 16, 2026. Emergency Room Nurse Fellow Responsibilities: Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team. Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner. Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery. Minimum Requirements: Experience: Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. BLS from American Heart Association Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others Proficient computer skills required. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred candidates will possess 2 years of critical care experience.
