Responsibilities

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

Reporting to the Manager of the Nursing Resource Team, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to
patients including complex patient populations whose outcomes are not predictable. As part of an interdisciplinary
health care team, you will practice within the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Applicants must have the following qualification:
* Current registration or eligible for temporary registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of
Ontario
* Current certification in BCLS
In addition, applicants must have skill and experience in the following areas:
* Physical Assessment
* Intravenous Therapy and Intravenous Initiation
* Central Venous Line Management
* Aseptic Technique and Body Substance Precautions
* Practicing as a partner on interdisciplinary teams
* Patient and family teaching
* Critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
* Comfortable providing cross cultural care
* Time management and organizational skills

Salary Range: $39.070 to 56.000
