JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following experience or skills:

  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Background in critical care settings including ICU or emergency medicine.
  • Experience with specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization, dialysis, or trauma medicine.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
  • Experience working in diverse environments including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform various nursing procedures including IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and emergency interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress and document changes in medical records accurately.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
