Job Description: • Excellent benefits including salary packaging • Fitzroy location • Fixed term, Part Time, (28 hours per week) until March 2027 About the Role You will join the St Vincent's Public Hospital Chemotherapy Day Unit team as a Grade 3 Registered Nurse. Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of clinical nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Duties include: Demonstrate a Person Centred Care Approach in all aspects of daily nursing practice Provide the highest standard of direct patient care; demonstrate safe administration of anti cancer medication and expert cannulation skills. The unit provides treatment for patients with haematological malignancies and solid tumours, working closely alongside the multidisciplinary team. The service also includes apheresis, a Symptom Urgent Review Clinic (SURC) and Cancer Care at Home.
