Description

The Registered Nurse in SDS supports a high volume, interdisciplinary team and is responsible for planning, implementation, and assessment of pre and post surgical care. 1. Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse. 2. Current BCLS certification. 3. Physical Assessment Course 4. Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring and pain management. 5. Current certification in vascular access/venipuncture skills preferred. 6. Evidence of commitment to professional practice and ongoing continuing education. 7. Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, patient care environment.

Responsibilities
