We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. All supported by recently expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit. As a Registered Nurse – Orthopaedic/ Neurosurgical your responsibilities will include: Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs Act as a role model for Safe Practice Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery Essential Criteria: Current Registration with AHPRA Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute hospital setting, ideally in a surgical ward. Orthopaedic and neurosurgical nursing highly regarded Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Commitment to quality patient care Works independently and within a team Exceptional time management and organisational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Exceptional computer skills Why Healthscope? If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025" (salaries range between $35.33 to $47.25 per hour).
