Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to geriatric patients * Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals * Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient * Plans effective administration of assigned unit * Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed * Admits, transfers, and/or discharges residents * Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardians * Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members * Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment * Registered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements: * Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey * Excellent bedside manner and communication skills * Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a valid license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey.  Successful completion of one (1) year experience in a long term care facility preferred  Have a knowledge of federal and state standards relating to documentation and resident assessment  Have an understanding of, an affection for, and a desire to work with the elderly.  Be able to set priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Per Diem Varied Hours  $45 per hour
