SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

What You will Bring:

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant field and current registration with AHPRA
• Experience working in primary health care, preferably in community-based roles
• Skills and experience in home-based health assessment
• High level of care coordination and referral skills
• Knowledge of current immunisation schedules, diabetes and asthma management, and enhanced primary care items
• Knowledge of infection control, CPR and emergency resuscitation techniques, equipment and drugs

As the Registered Nurse you will:

• Perform clinical duties in accordance with best practice including, triage, wound and chronic disease management, assist GPs with procedures and conduct health assessments, including home-based
• Maintain patient documentation and ensure appropriate cold chain and infection control
• Ensure the appropriate sterilisatisaion and maintenance of clinical equipment
• Provide support, and at times relief to Medical Centre reception staff
