Description Position Specifications Weekends Only 7A option available 7P option available 36 hours worked; paid for 40 hours per week 1 year contract with 1 call in per quarter Completion incentive of $5K Benefits eligible Accrual PTO Job Summary Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Requirements Regulatory Requirements: ·Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. · Current state Registered Nurse Licensure within State of Louisiana. · Current BCLS certification. ·Successful completion of arrhythmia course within first 6 months of employment & annual arrhythmia testing thereafter. ·Certification in ACLS preferred upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. ·Certification in PALS preferred upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

Provides direct and indirect patient care within a critical care setting. Communicates patient clinical changes and diagnostic results to physicians and nursing management.
