Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Per-Diem Registered Nurse for an opening at a Medical Center in Selma, AL. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients, managing complex conditions, advanced life support equipment (e.g., ventilators, vasoactive drips), and continuous physiological monitoring. Perform vigilant, ongoing patient assessment and surveillance, interpreting subtle changes in condition and responding immediately to prevent clinical deterioration. Administer and titrate potent medications and intravenous therapies with precision, based on comprehensive patient data and physician orders. Collaborate as a core member of a multidisciplinary team (physicians, specialists, respiratory therapists) to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and their families during critical illness, facilitating understanding and involvement in care decisions. Greenlife Healthcare Staffing - Empowering Healthcare Professionals, Enriching Lives Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program. Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of Alabama. Experience: Minimum of 6 months of RN work experience. Technical Skills: Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred). Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, cultural competency, collaboration, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Credentialing Requirements: Clean background check, negative TB test results, annual physical, COVID-19 vaccination, and other requirements as specified by the facility or agency.
