ABOUT US

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit. In this critical care environment, you will deliver safe, effective, patient-centred nursing care to individuals and their families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their health journey. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring best practice and timely escalation when needed. This role requires a strong commitment to professional standards, ethical practice, and cultural sensitivity, particularly when supporting patients from Indigenous and multicultural backgrounds. You will also play a key role in mentoring staff and students, while effectively managing resources to support high-quality service delivery.
Join a team where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your impact is profound. At Nepean Hospital’s ICU, you’ll be part of a dynamic and dedicated team making a real difference every day.
