    Are you an experienced ICU or HDU trained Registered Nurse looking for your next challenge?
    Newcastle Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurse’s to join our ICU team, we have a variety of roles available with work on a full-time, Part-time and casual basis.
    Acute surgical ward nurses with 5+ years of experience that are looking to transition into the critical care space are also encouraged to apply!

We are a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park with 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit.
    Our Cardiac, Maternity, Rehab and Oncology services also provide exceptional specialty care for individuals and their families/carers across the Newcastle region and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient care
  • Demonstrate professional practice as evidence by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope’s polices and processes
  • Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates and students
  • Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum
  • Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes
