Overview What is great about this unit? This unit’s leader is innovative and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge. She is able to put a fresh perspective on things and be a positive change agent. She started her healthcare career in a secretary position and transitioned to a nurse. Through hard work and dedication, she has become an amazing nurse leader. She is able to understand each role that her team members are in and has an understanding of each of the hardships that come with them. Responsibilities Under the direction of the director/ charge nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care. This is a full time night shift position, eligible for a sign on bonus. 7pm-7am Qualifications Education: - Diploma/Associate's Degree Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Florida Registered Nurse License - BLS - ACLS - NIH complete prior to completion of orientation

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to facilitate patient care, including making assessments and diagnoses. They are responsible for formulating, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive care plans for patients in the ICU Stepdown unit.
