Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: med Surg Location: Napa, CA Facility: Inpatient Acute Care Facility Job Type (Per Diem/Travel Contract): Travel/Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $52.97/hr Shift: Days 7:00am - 4:00pm Duration: 13 weeks Experience Required: Minimum of 2 yrs recent experience in the same field License Required: RN CA license Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS if applicable First-timers accepted: No Weekend Req: Yes On Call Req: Yes Qualifications: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments safely and accurately. Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic findings. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, pharmacists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and disease management. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety initiatives. Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. ACLS certification preferred or required within established timeframe. Minimum one (1) year of recent inpatient acute care hospital experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Experience using electronic health records (Epic preferred).
Responsibilities
