Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center, a division of Cedars-Sinai, offers a full range of imaging services for adults and children. Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at the center. Our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand-new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a conscientious environment. Summary of Essential Duties: Observe signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments/procedures Administration of medication and therapeutic agents Assesses signs and symptoms to resolve normal vs. abnormal characteristics Plans and implements care based on observations Implements and documents appropriate reporting, referrals and care with standardized practices and procedures Initiates emergency procedures when indicated Identifies patients' ability to adhere instructions and give consent Identifies and assesses patient safety concerns, intervenes to provide a safe environment and evaluates efficiency of intervention for patients
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse II will observe signs and symptoms of illness and reactions to treatments, administering medication and therapeutic agents while planning and implementing care based on these observations. Responsibilities also include initiating emergency procedures when necessary, assessing patient safety concerns, and documenting appropriate reporting and referrals according to standardized practices.
