PATIENT EDUCATION & SUPPORT:

Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, and follow-up procedures to promote optimal recovery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification nursing experience.
Preferably with experience in Day Surgery Unit
License and Certification:
Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license.
Valid BLS, PALS and ACLS.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role is responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of individualized nursing care to Day Surgery Unit / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit patients and their family members according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times in alignment with Department of Health (DOH) and organization policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
