Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our supportive team in a permanent part-time role, working in our Buderim Private Hospital clinic.
This role is 0.4FTE per week (2 days a week)
What will you be doing?
This role involves assisting our Radiologists and Technical staff with interventional procedures, and providing high quality pre, intra and post procedure nursing care to both outpatients and inpatients. There are development opportunities such as training in Cannulation and Advanced Life Support

DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

  • Cannulation Experience
  • advanced life support
  • Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Interventional Radiology Cases such as Pain Management Injections, Biopsies, Drainages, PICC line insertions,
  • Pre and Post Procedural Preperation and Care
  • Administering Conscious Sedation and Monitoring Vital Signs during procedures
  • Care of hospital inpatients whilst in the department
  • Stringent record keeping
  • Ability to work with a multi disciplinary team
