Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking experienced Inpatient Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term contract assignment at Hopi Health Care Center. This is an excellent opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team in a mission-driven environment. Start Date: Aug/Sept Schedule: Full-time | Day & Night Shifts Available Hours: 36–48 hours per week (12-hour shifts) Contract Length: Minimum 6 months | Up to 1 year with additional extension options available Location: Polacca, Arizona Facility Info: https://www.ihs.gov/phoenix/healthcarefacilities/hopi/ What You'll Do Provide direct inpatient nursing care to patients of all ages. ER, ICU, or Telemetry experience needed Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring. Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and prescribed treatments. Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Deliver safe, patient-centered care while following established clinical policies and procedures. Requirements Requirements Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (ADN or BSN required) Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience Minimum of 1- 2 years of recent ER/Tele/Acute Care inpatient care experience Must be experienced with all ages Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United States Must be able to pass a federal security clearance Qualifications Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state accepted) Current BLS & PALS certification required ACLS preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Previous IHS experience a plus Experience with EHR systems required Required immunizations must be up to date
