As part of our inpatient unit team, you’ll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our patients. As a Registered Nurse at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care, you will: Perform admission assessments as appropriate. Teach, supervise, and counsel the patient/ family members, and care providers regarding patient care, disease process, medication use and other related concerns the patient and family may have. Contribute as a member of the team to identify needs for the plan of care. Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care and participates in revision of plans. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician. Qualifications: Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). Current CPR certification. Valid state-issued driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
