The unit is part of the Med-Surg team and requires professionals skilled in managing patient care across a variety of surgical cases. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a 45-bed inpatient surgical unit. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and ensure continuity of care. Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 7:1, demonstrating efficiency and clinical expertise. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 4 years) acute care RN experience. Licensure: Current Florida RN license or an RN Compact license with the ability to obtain FL licensure within 90 days of hire. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
