POSITION SUMMARY:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse Instructor.
In this role, the successful candidate The Instructor is a Registered Professional Nurse with advanced education and experience who provides for the orientation of new staff members; teaches required courses; provides in-service training; and provides educational programs identified through performance management and assessment of individual and staff needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree required. Four to five years of recent full-time Nursing experience required. The Specialty Instructors must have two to three years recent experience in the respective specialty (i.e. Critical Care, Maternal Child, Perioperative). Demonstrated patient care competency.
Previous involvement in orientation process and preceptorship/internship programs. Demonstrates an understanding of the teaching-learning process. Demonstrates commitment to continuing professional development. Licensed and currently registered as a Professional Nurse in NYS..
Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Teaching experience preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $131,249.28 - $167,249.28 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
