We are the Heart of the East!
Join Michael Garron Hospital (MGH), part of the Toronto East Health Network and Ontario’s leading community teaching hospital as we create health and build community. We have proudly served the diverse, multi-cultural population of East Toronto since 1929, offering an extensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based programs and services delivered by more than 3,000 employees and 400 physicians and midwives. Conveniently located near Coxwell subway station and with easy access to the Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway, MGH offers a strong sense of community and an admired workplace culture where our people come first.
MGH’s Intensive Care Unit offers full-service care to meet the needs of the most critically ill individuals in East Toronto.
Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to advance their career as a Registered Nurse ICU Support Full-Time.
This unique position is for Registered Nurses (RNs) looking to grow in their career and expand their knowledge in a highly supportive environment. Join us in the Intensive Care Unit as an RN seeking to learn more about Critical Care. Michael Garron Hospital is looking for RNs interested to become Critical Care trained; we will support, mentor and help novice nurses build the knowledge, skills and training to work independently in the ICU. With training and ongoing support, you will begin to take on some of the skills of the experienced ICU nurse. This will help to prepare you for a placement in the fully funded Critical Care Nurse training program through an accredited college.
