We are delighted to open our new 102 bed Aged Care home, Holy Cross, implementing the Inspirit model of care. Our promise to our residents is ‘You’re first regardless’ and this speaks to our foundation of relationship-centred care.
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team, reporting to the Clinical Manager in a Home Neighborhood that comprises 34 residents. With a consistent assignment approach to rostering, we are considering applicants that have at least 3 days work availability and ideally more.

The key focus areas are

  • Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Providing guidance to the Care Companions and Household Coordinator
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Competent IT skills
