Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Full Time Rotating shift About The Job This position accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care with the multidisciplinary team while using the nursing process and maintaining professional nursing standards. Birth Center and Pediatrics are considered "sister" units and staff float are expected to float between these units. What We Are Looking For Education Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate from an accredited RN program required Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa, or qualified multi-state license required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Experience Previous experience in obstetric care and / or acute care preferred. Special Skills and Competencies: Required successful certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring via National Certification Center (NCC) within 1 year of starting orientation to the Labor and Delivery area and maintains certification. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and flexibility to meet department needs. Self-motivated, detail oriented individual able to work with minimum supervision.
