Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol and Drug Services provides recovery‑focused care across hospital, community and justice settings, working in partnership with consumers, families, carers and community organisations to achieve the best outcomes. Adult Acute Mental Health Services includes the Adult Mental Health Unit (AMHU), Mental Health Short Stay Unit (MHSSU), Unit 12B and the Consultation Liaison Team. AMHU is a 40‑bed inpatient unit providing evidence‑based care for people experiencing moderate to severe mental illness, supported by dedicated short‑stay and low‑dependency units within Canberra Hospital. Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients within the Adult Acute Mental Health Services unit. They will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based recovery-focused care across inpatient settings.
