Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Services (RACS) is a dynamic and compassionate Division of Canberra Health Services, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional rehabilitation, aged, and community-based care across locations including the Canberra Hospital, Community Health Centres and the Village Creek Centre in Kambah. Within this network, Wards 11A and 11B specialise in Acute Care of the Elderly, where nurses combine expert clinical knowledge with empathy to support older adults through complex health challenges, stabilising acute conditions and promoting recovery with dignity. Central to this work, the 11A/B Clinical Development Nurse (CDN) provides strong educational leadership, fostering collaborative partnerships and driving high‑quality, timely learning opportunities that uphold the National Safety and Quality Health Standards and strengthen the capability of the nursing workforce.
