Join the Department of Paediatrics as the Clinical Nurse Consultant for the Paediatric Forensic Medical Service, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction and clinical governance of paediatric care. Based within the Division of Women, Youth and Children at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children, you will lead nursing practice in a specialised acute service that supports children and families affected by abuse and neglect. This role involves delivering expert forensic medical assessments, collaborating across medical, nursing, and psychosocial teams, and providing crucial advice to statutory authorities. With a focus on high-quality, compassionate care, you’ll contribute to complex case management and medico-legal reporting, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children across the region. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing, this leadership position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in paediatric forensic medicine.
